Gretchen Korb-Nice volunteers at Immigration Family Detention Center in Dilley, TX

Gretchen Korb-Nice represented the WA Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) as an on-the-ground pro bono attorney with the CARA Project at the Immigration Family Detention Center in Dilley, TX for one week. She represented women and children who are fleeing violence in Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala and requesting asylum in the United States.

Andersen is chairing an Adoption Law CLE sponsored by the Washington State Bar Association, in cooperation with the WSBA Family Law Section.   To be held at the WSBA-CLE Conference Center, 1501 Fourth Ave., Ste. 308, Seattle, WA, topics will range from Assisted Reproductive Technology and Interstate Jurisdictional Issues to  compliance with the Indian Child Welfare Act and the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children.
